This designation reflects our unwavering dedication to protecting patient data and upholding the highest standards of confidentiality.
In order to achieve HIPAA compliance, an external audit was conducted to review our internal controls, and other critical areas of our business including:
- policies
- procedures
- infrastructure regarding data security, firewall configurations, change management, logical access, backup management, business continuity and disaster recovery
- security incident response
In addition to the external audit and successful HIPAA report, Authorium has integrated critical infrastructure to monitor compliance to the HIPAA framework, 24/7 – not just during the audit window. The entire Authorium team is pleased to support our customer’s rigorous information security requirements.
Public and private sector healthcare organizations are required to ensure the privacy and security of their patients’ personal information. This designation enables government teams with electronic protected health information to more fully integrate Authorium’s platform into their most critical administrative operations.
In addition to being HIPAA Compliant, Authorium is StateRAMP Authorized and FedRAMP High Ready.
